Marcus Ray Johnson, a Georgia prison inmate under a death sentence, appeals the district court's denial of his 28 U.S.C. § 2254 petition for a writ of habeas corpus. The issues on appeal concern whether Johnson's trial counsel were ineffective in the penalty phase as to evidence of Johnson's life history, escape from pretrial custody, and future dangerousness.
