Background

This is a wrongful death medical negligence action against Dr. Amibola O. Osunkoya. The decedent, Mandy Friedel, was twenty-four years old when she died. The complaint alleges she saw Dr. Osunkoya on November 24, 2004, with various complaints including opiate withdraw and stress. On that occasion he prescribed methadone for her. She came back to see him on November 30th complaining of chest pain...
