The plaintiff, Elissa Pramuka, appeals from the summary judgment of the trial court rendered in favor of the defendants, the town of Cromwell (town) and the Board of Education of the Town of Cromwell (board), in an action brought pursuant to General Statutes § 13a-149, the municipal highway defect statute.1
