The defendant, Wayne Jones, appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of sexual assault in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-70 (a)(1),2 burglary in the first degree in violation of General Statutes (Rev. to 2005) § 53a-101 (a)(2)3 and kidnapping in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-92 (a)(2)(B).
