STATE of Connecticut v. Barrington LINDO.

Appellate Court of Connecticut.

Decided September 23, 2008.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Richard E. Condon, Jr., assistant public defender, for the appellant (acquittee).

Sarah Hanna, deputy assistant state's attorney, with whom, on the brief, were Gail P. Hardy, state's attorney, Vicki Melchiorre, senior assistant state's attorney, for the appellee (state).

McLACHLAN, HARPER and FOTI, Js.

FOTI, J.

The acquittee, Barrington Lindo, appeals following the court's granting of the state's petition for an order of continued commitment as to him. On appeal, the acquittee claims that General Statutes § 17a-593(c),1 as applied to the him, violated his right to equal protection under the fourteenth amendment to the United States constitution.2 We affirm the judgment of the trial court.
