Defendant and appellant, Jose R. Medrano, appeals the judgment entered following his conviction for first degree murder, assault with a firearm and making criminal threats, with firearm use enhancements (Pen. Code, §§ 187, 245, 422, 12022.5, 12022.53).1 He was sentenced to state prison for a term of 63 years to life.
