In 2011, appellant Roy Dean Spratt was found guilty by a jury in the Desha County Circuit Court of attempted residential burglary and was sentenced as a habitual offender to 360 months' imprisonment. A fine of $5,000 was also imposed. The Arkansas Court of Appeals affirmed. Spratt v. State, 2013 Ark.App. 170, 2013 WL 841272.
