In 2009, appellant Kirk Demeyer entered a negotiated plea of guilty to rape and was sentenced to 480 months' imprisonment. In 2012, appellant filed in the circuit court a pro se petition for writ of error coram nobis in which he alleged that his guilty plea was coerced and that the prosecution withheld evidence from him.
