In 2010, this court affirmed appellant Michael Gilliland's convictions for rape and sexual assault. Gilliland v. State, 2010 Ark. 135, ___ S.W.3d ___. Appellant filed a pro se petition for postconviction relief pursuant to Arkansas Rule of Criminal Procedure 37.1 on June 30, 2010.
