David Borland appeals from an order of the Pulaski County Circuit Court granting a judgment in favor of Tom Travis on a promissory note. On appeal, Borland argues that the trial court erred in entering the judgment because Travis admitted that the promissory note was not supported by consideration and that the note was meant to obligate Borland to a preexisting debt of the law firm that Borland and Travis had created.
