A Jefferson County jury convicted appellant, John Diggins, of second-degree murder. He was sentenced to thirty years' imprisonment in the Arkansas Department of Correction for the murder conviction and an additional ten years in the Arkansas Department of Correction for employing a firearm as a means of committing the felony pursuant to Ark.
