("Gulf Coast"), and Merchants Adjustment Service ("Merchants") appeal from an order of the Mobile Circuit Court ("the circuit court") denying their joint petition for a writ of mandamus requesting the circuit court to direct the Judge Barber Sherling of the Mobile District Court ("the district court") to grant default judgments in 12 separate cases.
