John E. Vajner, Jr. ("the former husband"), appeals from a judgment of the Mobile Circuit Court holding him in contempt of court for failing to pay periodic alimony, awarding Suzanne P. Vajner ("the former wife") a periodic-alimony arrearage of $24,420, denying his request for a temporary suspension of his obligation to make periodic-alimony payments, and denying his request for a modification of the former wife's child-support obligation.
