Plaintiff Byron Sharpe is an African-American male who was employed by defendant MCI Communications Services, Inc. ("MCI") from September 2000 until March 2006 as a "telecom technician." In February 2006, Sharpe complained to his senior manager and the Human Resources Department about his direct manager's confrontational and aggressive management style.
