PHILLIPS, District Judge.

Following a bench trial, James Lavon Miller was convicted of four counts of making false claims against the United States, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 287. He appeals his convictions, arguing that the district court2 erred by not renewing a Faretta inquiry at the close of his case. Miller also challenges the sufficiency of the evidence supporting his convictions. We affirm.
