Eddie Clarence Boyd was convicted of malice murder and numerous additional charges arising from his acts at two businesses in downtown Cordele and the subsequent stabbing death of Lanny Michael ("Mike") Morgan. The trial court denied Boyd's motion for new trial1 and he appeals.
