MEMORANDUM OPINION ON MOTIONS TO SUPPRESS

In this drug and firearms case, Defendants Jason Cooley and Detrick Jackson have moved to suppress the evidence as forbidden "fruit of the poisonous tree." Based on the evidence adduced by the Government at the suppression hearings of April 17 and May 6, 2008, the Court concludes that the Defendants were subjected to an unreasonable "seizure" by officers of the Birmingham Police Department...
