Pearl Elizabeth Ann Freemont pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine, one count of distribution of crack cocaine, and one count of possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. Because of her prior drug convictions, she faced a mandatory life sentence on the two drug counts and a mandatory consecutive five year sentence on the gun count.
