This suit was filed by FIA Card Services, N.A., fka MBNA, America Bank, N.A. ("FIA") against Samuel M. Gachiengu to confirm an arbitration award issued in June 2005, in the amount of $31,019.81. The arbitration award was based on unpaid credit-card debt. The arbitration was conducted under a provision in the credit-card agreement. (Docket Entry No. 1).
