Acting pro se, Hassan Ali Dashtpeyma and Klara Dashtpeyma (hereinafter the "Dashtpeymas"), husband and wife, brought this action against Benford Wade, alleging that on June 27, 2004, Wade followed the Dashtpeymas' car, blocked their car with the car he was driving, and then came out of his car in a threatening manner, shouting obscenity-laced threats at the Dashtpeymas and brandishing a hockey stick.
