In this defamation action brought by a physician, the defendant hospital and hospital administrators appeal from an interlocutory order of a Superior Court judge ordering production of documents and responses to interrogatories the defendants claim are protected from discovery under the "medical peer review privilege." See G. L. c. 111, §§ 204 (a)-(b) and 205 (b).
