This case comes before the Court for resentencing following a successful appeal by Robert Leon Boyd of his first sentence. The net result of resentencing, in the view of the undersigned judge, will be a sentence that is sufficient, but not greater than necessary, to comply with the purposes stated in 18 U.S.C. § 3553(a)(2) but which, nevertheless, may be below the minimum mandated by 18 U.S.C. § 3553(f).
