Samuel Baraseinde Johnson is a Nigerian who came to this country in 1984 as a student. In 1989 he was granted temporary resident status, and in 1991 he became a permanent resident. He is married to a United States citizen and has two sons who are also citizens of this country. One of his sons is in grade school. The other is a student at Dartmouth College.
