Plaintiff appeals from a judgment on a jury verdict in his favor in a negligence action that awarded him $10,000 in economic damages but did not award him any noneconomic damages. Plaintiff maintains that, on the basis of defendant's response to his request for admissions, he was entitled to an award of noneconomic damages as a matter of law.
