On January 14, 2005, Darnell Savoy was indicted by a grand jury for two counts of second degree murder, a violation of La.R.S. 14:30.1.

On November 16, 2005, following a bench trial, the trial court found Defendant guilty as charged. On that same date, Defendant waived the delay in sentencing, and the trial court sentenced him to life imprisonment at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation...
