A jury in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County found appellant, Gerald S. Harris, guilty of distribution of cocaine, possession of cocaine, and possession of marijuana but not guilty of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. Thereafter, the circuit court sentenced appellant, a prior offender, to a mandatory term of twenty-five years' imprisonment without parole, under § 5-608(c) of the Criminal Law Article of the Maryland Code, for distribution...
