After a jury trial, Daniel Allen Newton was convicted of three counts of aggravated child molestation, one count of child molestation, and one count of incest. He was acquitted of electronically furnishing obscene material to a minor. Newton was sentenced to 20 years with 12 to serve to run concurrently on each count and ordered to pay $12,000 in restitution. Without challenging the sufficiency of the evidence...
