Plaintiffs, Janssen Pharmaceutica, N.V., a Belgian corporation, and its New Jerseybased subsidiary, Janssen Pharmaceutica, L.P. (collectively "Janssen"), are the inventors and producers of risperidone, the active ingredient in Janssen's successful drug for the treatment of schizophrenia, Risperdal.
