At issue in this habeas corpus petition is the legality of petitioner's post-removal order detention. Petitioner is a Major in the Egyptian Army who came to the United States to attend a U.S. Army course and then remained here after the expiration of his A-2 non-immigrant visa. Although ordered removed, petitioner won relief from removal to Egypt under Article 3 of the United Nations Convention Against Torture...
