In this case, we consider the legal effect of a March 1, 1971, vote at the annual meeting of the town of Hanson (town) "to accept for conservation purposes, a deed, or deeds, to" a 3.98 acre parcel of land identified as lot 7 on plan 93 of the town's tax maps (locus).
