This is an appeal by the plaintiffs-appellants, John Mitchell, Sr. and Donna Mitchell, following a jury trial in the Superior Court in an action for alleged medical malpractice against the defendant-appellee, Dr. Joydeep Haldar. The jury returned a verdict in favor of the plaintiffs in the total amount of $15,000. The plaintiffs filed a motion for a new trial, arguing that the damage award was inadequate...
