Fifteen-year-old Immanuel Williams was charged with murder and tried as an adult pursuant to OCGA § 15-11-28(b)(2). A jury found him guilty of voluntary manslaughter, and he was sentenced to 15 years with 12 to serve. On appeal he contends that the trial court erred in (1) the manner in which it instructed the jury on voluntary manslaughter and justification, (2) using a confusing verdict form that caused the jury to return an inconsistent verdict...
