(Allstate) as subrogee of John Rice against defendants Dennis Fields and Dennis Fields Construction (collectively Fields), following a fire that destroyed a home built for Rice by defendants. Plaintiff claims that defendants were responsible for the fire, and thus, for the loss it incurred in reimbursing Rice.
