This appeal concerns the consolidated successions of three siblings. In each succession, the trial court refused to place the living heirs into possession because they were not heirs at the time of the death of the decedent. Instead, the trial court instructed the heirs to submit amended judgments of possession recognizing the now-deceased heirs who were alive at the date of death of each decedent.
