These antitrust actions were brought at various times by certain purchasers of copper under Section 4 of the Clayton Act, 15 U.S.C. § 16 and the Sherman Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1, against defendants J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., and Morgan Guaranty Trust Company of New York, alleging defendants' involvement in copper market manipulation in the early to mid-1990s.
