The defendant, Lucis Richardson, appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of felony murder in violation of General Statutes § 53a-54c. The defendant claims that the court improperly denied his request for an evidentiary hearing on the motion to suppress his February 29, 1996 statement in violation of his due process rights. In addition, he claims that prosecutorial misconduct deprived him of the right to a fair trial...
