On December 8, 1998, Plaintiffs Epcon Gas Systems, Inc. ("Epcon") and Norman Loren filed a complaint asserting that Defendant Bauer Compressors, Inc. ("Bauer") infringed Claims 2 and 16 of United States Patent 5,118,455 ("455 patent").
