CORRIGAN, C.J.
We granted leave to appeal to consider whether a continuously locked residence hall at a public university was "open for use by members of the public" under the public-building exception to governmental immunity, M.C.L. § 691.1406. We hold that the residence hall was not "open for use by members of the public." We thus reverse the judgment of the Court of Appeals and reinstate the trial court's order granting summary disposition...
