Imre Bessenyei has sued a number of medical care providers, including Brent C. Birely, M.D., for medical malpractice after receiving allegedly negligent emergency care at Fallston General Hospital. Dr. Salvatore Raiti, the emergency room physician who treated Bessenyei, telephoned and consulted with Dr. Birely before releasing Bessenyei. Birely now moves for summary judgment.
