Landlord Marcus H. Nobles, Jr. sued tenants the Jiffy Market Food Store Corporation, Keith Strickland, and Gladys Strickland (collectively Jiffy Market) for breach of several lease agreements. Among the damages Nobles sought were future lease payments under an acceleration clause in one of the agreements.
