In this products liability case, 51-year-old plaintiff Natalie Figueroa suffers from female stress urinary incontinence. Figueroa decided to undergo surgical implantation of a vaginal sling manufactured by defendant, Boston Scientific Corporation ("BSC"), called the ProteGen Collagen Impregnated Synthetic Sling (the "ProteGen sling").
