Pending before this court are cross-motions for summary judgment filed by plaintiff Sharon Taylor-Brown and defendant Continental Casualty Company (the latter is a member of the CNA insurance group, and hereinafter will be referred to as "CNA"). The underlying claim, based on the Employee Retirement Income Security Act ("ERISA"), is that Ms. Taylor-Brown is suffering from "total disability" under the terms of a CNA insurance policy...
