The juvenile court found youth to be within its jurisdiction for committing acts that, if committed by an adult, would constitute sex abuse in the first degree (two counts) and sodomy in the first degree (one count). The court placed youth, who was 12 years old at the time of the alleged offenses, in the legal custody of the Oregon Youth Authority for a period to expire no later than his twenty-fifth birthday, and it recommended placement in a youth correctional...
