Michael R. Breeden and Carilyn Breeden sued appellees Anesthesia West, P.C., and its employees Dr. Wesley K. Hubka, an anesthesiologist, and Janet Lemonds, a nurse anesthetist, for medical malpractice. (Appellees are referred to collectively herein as "Anesthesia West.")
