This litigation arises out of the crash of a small aircraft near Augusta, Kansas, on May 24, 1998. The plane, a twin-engine Cessna 310R, was piloted by plaintiff Robert H. Souders, Sr. Plaintiffs Richard Bieberle, Sherrie Bieberle, and Robert H. Souders, Jr., were passengers on the plane.
