The grand jury indicted Quinton Ross and two others for malice murder, felony murder, armed robbery, robbery by sudden snatching, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm by a person on probation as a felony first offender. The trial court directed a verdict on the robbery count, and the jury acquitted Ross of malice murder, but found him guilty of the remaining counts.
