Plaintiff filed an action for a declaratory judgment of noninfringement of Sknowbest! Inc.'s ("Sknowbest") patent, and also asserted claims of tortious interference, trade libel, antitrust and conspiracy resulting from infringement notice letters sent on behalf of Sknowbest and possibly the other defendants.
