¶ 1 The state appeals from the trial court's order of December 24, 2002, dismissing civil commitment proceedings brought against Olin Gene Taylor pursuant to Arizona's Sexually Violent Persons (SVP) Act, A.R.S. §§ 36-3701 through 36-3717, and ordering his immediate release from the Arizona State Hospital.
