The defendant was convicted of assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon (two counts), assault and battery, and violation of a protective order in connection with an incident of domestic violence against his girl friend and her two children. On appeal, the Appeals Court reversed the conviction with respect to one count of assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon, and affirmed the remaining convictions...
