This is a real estate case. Owners of adjoining parcels each claim ownership of a strip of land near the border of the two parcels. The circuit court granted summary disposition for the defendants on the ground the plaintiffs' suit was tardily filed because M.C.L. § 600.5868 provides a one-year limitation period.
